Membership in LCCA is open to all union contractors who have been in business more than three years and who are sponsored by a current LCCA member. Dues start at $1,000 per year and are based on the company's construction volume in Lake County, Illinois.

In addition, membership is available to suppliers of goods and services to the construction industry who have been in business more than three years and who are sponsored by a current LCCA member. Dues for Associate and Material Supplier members are $1,000 per year.

Labor

• Negotiations with several of the basic trades
• Assistance with grievances, jurisdictional disputes, and any other problem which may arise
• Publication and updating of wage rates and negotiation schedules for all trades in Lake County
• Affiliation with the Mid-American Regional Bargaining Association (MARBA) and the Construction Industry Service Corporation (CISCO)

Legislation

• Lobbying in Springfield provided by the Illinois Construction Industry Committee (ICIC): assures that damaging legislation never passes and that legislation which will help the industry does.  See our Legislative Updates.

Meetings

• An opportunity for contractors to meet and discuss common problems
  • 10 Membership Meetings or social activities each year
  • Meetings attract almost 2,500 people annually
